I have trusted Larsen Auto Care for my auto maintenance and/or repair for about twelve years--perhaps a few more. I have always thought they seemed honest and reliable; but now I have something worth writing about. It's easy to click on five stars; but now I have solid evidence. I took my 2004 CR-V (150,000 miles) in for a repair of the belt-and-pulley drive for the power steering and alternator. While doing an oil change about a month earlier the mechanic had noticed unusual belt wear and brought it to my attention. I took a risk and waited a couple of months before I made an appointment for the needed repair. The repair was completed and all seemed fine. But two weeks later the belt came off the pulley and the power steering stopped working. It's tough to drive without power steering when the car was designed to require it. But I made it home and called Larsen in the morning. To make a long story short, Chris drove to my place in Larsen's loaner car, left the loaner with me, and wrestled my car to the shop. Next day he called to say the car was repaired and he was ready to drive it back to us. The problem, he said. was that a bearing in the new idler pulley had failed(!) Not only was there no charge, but the personal attention that the team provided to us was exceptional. None of this absolutely proves that Larsen Auto Care is trustworthy; but they saved the failed components twice and showed them to me. All my experience points to the same conclusion.

These guys are the real deal -- honest, generous with their knowledge, patient in answering questions and helpful in guiding their customers to other specialty shops when necessary. Every some single person in the company, from the owner Ron, to the guys in the office (Chris, Casey, and Matt), and the technicians too, have always been friendly and professional. We have been customers for nearly 14 years, and I plan to remain a customer until I'm too old to drive!

Larsen Auto Care is special. I have been maintaining and servicing my own autos since I was a teenager about seventy years ago. (By the way, I have a PhD in mechanical engineering.) I began taking my current vehicle (which is twenty years old) to Larsen for service when it became too difficult for me to crawl under the car to change the oil, or climb over the engine to reach wires, plugs, and hoses. I have never found fault with any of the work that they have done, and their estimates and recommendations have been reliable.

Larsen's Auto Care is fantastic service for a great price. I really trust them to give me a good value.
